Alligator Naps
This layered, dimensional piece tells a quiet fairytale: a crowned figure and a wandering polar bear share a painted staircase, set against watercolor rooftops and soft sky. Built with raised, cut-paper elements that are stitched together into a collage, the work has real depth and texture — it reads more like a diorama than a flat painting.
Housed in a scalloped turquoise frame with an organic, hand-painted edge, this piece brings storybook charm and tactile artistry to any wall. Its mix of watercolor washes and bold graphic shapes makes it a distinctive addition to eclectic, whimsical, or art-collector interiors.
