"Lararium" is a collage of paintings made with fluid acrylic on mixed-media paper. The collage is stitched together with embroidery floss and is custom-framed. This image was created with the concept of a lararium in mind, a Roman household altar where the family could pray for protection and good health. This idea of a portal and a spiritual center is the heart of this piece.
