​Kate Gordon's installation work extends her painting practice into large-scale, site-specific and video formats — dioramas and public installations that treat painting as an "expanded field" rather than a fixed, framed object. Past projects include a site-specific installation, "Alligator Naps," at the Hilliard Art Museum, and an invited public video installation at Block 2, a new media art platform in Raleigh, NC.
